Have you been carrying a constant uneasy feeling that you can’t seem to shake? Feeling exhausted no matter how much you sleep? Noticing racing or intrusive thoughts that interrupt your focus or peace? You may be experiencing anxiety.
Anxiety can show up in subtle ways, restlessness, irritability, difficulty concentrating, muscle tension, disrupted sleep, or a sense that something is always “off” even when you can’t explain why. It can affect your body, your thoughts, and your emotions all at once.
You don’t have to navigate that alone. Together, we can identify what anxiety looks like for you and develop practical, effective strategies to help you regain a sense of calm, clarity, and control.
When stress goes unaddressed, it can begin to affect both your body and your mind. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, or you’ve been carrying the weight of things for a long time, you’re in the right place.
I’ll walk with you and teach you practical, effective tools to manage stress in healthier ways so you can experience more peace, clarity, and joy in your daily life.
I take a holistic approach to counseling, caring for the mind, body, and spirit together. I’m trained in a variety of evidence-based approaches to support you in achieving meaningful, lasting emotional and mental wellness.

Life can be a lot, right? Some days it feels like you’re carrying the weight of the world—work stress, family responsibilities, personal struggles, and just trying to keep it all together. It’s exhausting. If you’re feeling worn out or overwhelmed, you’re not alone. And here’s the good news: You don’t have to carry it all by yourself.
There’s a beautiful scripture that speaks to this:
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." – Matthew 11:28-29
Life wasn’t meant to be done alone, and healing doesn’t happen in isolation. Here at YNT, that’s exactly what we’re here for—to walk alongside you, share the load, and help you find the rest and peace you’ve been searching for.
Whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, grief, or just trying to figure out life’s next steps, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. We’ll work together to sort through the tough stuff, let go of what’s weighing you down, and find tools to help you feel lighter, calmer, and more grounded.
You deserve to feel at peace. Let’s work on that together.
Therapy times and fees

During the call, you will be able to:
Please reach us at ABurnett@YNTNYC.COM if you cannot find an answer to your question.
I usually like to begin with a free 15-minute consultation so we can both get a sense of whether we’re a good fit before moving forward. It gives me a chance to understand what you’re looking for and make sure I have the right tools to support you, while also giving you space to get a feel for me and my approach.
From there, we schedule a 50-60 minute intake session where we can take a deeper look at your needs and begin mapping out how we’ll work together.
I’m currently paneled with Aetna in New York and New Jersey. In order for your sessions to be covered, you’ll need to be physically located in one of those states at the time of the appointment, and your insurance plan must also be issued from that same region.
In our first session, I’ll take some time to get to know you and understand what’s been going on that brought you to counseling. It’s an opportunity for me to hear your story and for us to explore how I can best support you. You’ll also have plenty of space to ask any questions about how the process works. This is your time, and my goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, heard, and supported.
A counseling session typically lasts for 55 minutes, although session length may vary depending on your specific needs and preferences.
